The Village of Johnson Creek is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant. This role is the first point of contact for residents and visitors at Village Hall and provides a wide variety of administrative support for day-to-day operations of the Village. The Administrative Assistant will work 40 hours per week, primarily during the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required to attend official meetings and to assist with election duties or tax collection.
Desired qualifications:
- Associate degree in administrative professional or business administration program preferred; high school diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office programs
- Working knowledge of cash receipts, accounts payable, and basic accounting procedures preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in an office environment; municipal experience is a plus
- Valid WI driver's license required
Pay range begins at $20.47/hour; starting pay DOQ. Excellent benefit package includes contribution to Wisconsin Retirement System, up to 88% employer contribution to health insurance, 100% employer-paid dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
