A FREE Family Day of Fun, Learning & Community in Johnson Creek!

Looking for something fun, FREE, and family-friendly to do in Johnson Creek? Join us for Wellness in the Creek on Saturday, September 19!

This community event brings together local organizations, first responders, health and wellness professionals, and community partners for an afternoon filled with activities, education, giveaways, food, and family fun.

And this year, we're excited to introduce a brand-new Kids Fishing Day at Fireman’s Pond!

🎣 NEW! Kids Fishing Day at Fireman’s Pond

12:00–2:00 PM | Fireman’s Pond

Grab the kids and come try something new! Our inaugural Kids Fishing Day gives children the opportunity to learn about fishing, get outside, and have some fun at Fireman’s Pond.

Kids 15 and under can fish for FREE, no fishing license required!

We'll have:

FREE fishing for kids 15 and under
FREE bait
DNR Fishmobile
Certified angler education instructor on-site
Limited fishing equipment available

No fishing experience necessary! The certified angler education instructor will be there to help kids learn and get started.

Families are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment if they have it, as equipment will be limited.

Fishing license information: Anyone age 16 or older who plans to fish must have a valid Wisconsin fishing license.

Whether your child is an experienced angler or has never held a fishing pole before, come give fishing a try!
