The Village of Johnson Creek is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water/Sewer Utility Operator to join our team. The Water and Sewer Utilities have made significant improvements in recent years, with major upgrades planned for the near future. As a member of the utility team, you will be part of these exciting projects like the transition to a state-of-the-art sludge dewatering and dehumidification process designed to produce Class A product, with construction almost complete! Additionally, the Water Utility is finalizing plans for a new well and treatment facility to meet the demands of our growing community.
Operators work under the direction of the Director of Public Works and Lead Operator, performing a variety of skilled technical and maintenance tasks for both the water and wastewater systems. The position also involves collaboration on Public Works and other community projects. We’re looking for someone committed to being part of the high-quality team that helps make Johnson Creek great!
This position is full-time and requires a rotating on-call schedule. The pay range for the Utility Operator position begins at $25.00/hour, with additional compensation for relevant certifications and experience. The Village of Johnson Creek also offers a great benefits package.
